Long Weekend - Connor & Liam's First Christmas

Every year members of the Hume clan migrate south to get away from the cold Canadian winters. We normally gather Thanksgiving weekend to see each other one last time and celebrate Christmas. This year, we moved our Christmas day up to the Labour Day weekend.

Christmas is held at Aunt Carol & Uncle Al's house in Grand Bend. They got to meet the boys on the patio.

The boys also got to meet Dad's cousins Julie,

Lisa,

and Anne.

Long Weekend - the Mitchell Fair

On Labour Day weekend, we travelled to Mitchell to introduce Connor and Liam to the extended family. Every year, nannie invites her relatives to the house for the Mitchell fair. It's a great time for everyone to get together and socialize, weather they make it to the fairgrounds or not. (We couldn't seem to find the time - where did it all go?)

Four generations of the Norris clan made the trip on Saturday. Connor & Liam were busy meeting everyone for the first time, but still managed to take some pictures with Mom & Dad, Nannie and Gramps/Grandad/Poppy and Great-Grandma.

The boys also got to meet their second cousin (or is that first cousin, twice removed) Emma. She's a natural at this baby business!

Uncle Cam's Departure

Uncle Cam left this afternoon for four, count them, four job interviews in London tomorrow and Friday. We're all very sad to see him go, especially Molly and the boys. He was a great help while he was here, willing to cook us dinner or lend a hand feeding the boys at three in the morning.
